Sandra Staka email
Sandra started dancing at the age of 11. She performed with her folkdance
group and her high school dance team for 4 years. She led her team and
fell in love with teaching.
Sandra taught dance
camps for the United Spirit Association for 14 years where she also trained
dance instructors on the art of teaching to all levels. During that time
she performed and taught throughout the western United States, Alaska,
Hawaii and Japan. She co-directed and choreographed many San Francisco
49er halftime shows as well as the Aloha Bowl.
She has been with
several reputable dance studios both in the Santa Cruz and San Jose areas.
Sandra holds a BA in Child Development from San Jose State University.

Annie
Colbeck
Annie has been involved in dance her entire life either as a student,
performer, teacher or choreographer. She is a trained dancer in ballet,tap
and jazz and was awarded a scholarship at the Joffrey Ballet. As well
as having danced and worked in the film and television industry, she spent
time in England choreographing for London theater productions, teaching
at Oxford University and other various studios. Since coming back to California
she has taught at local studios and continues to teach and choreograph
in the area.
Annie is a graduate
of the National Dance Institute teacher training program.

Nadia
Lewis
Nadia Lewis has been training and performing in Jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical,
modern and ballet since the tender age of 6. Locally trained, Nadia has
competed in numerous regional and national competitions and conventions
around the US. She had the honor of dancing on the Dance Company of San
Francisco directed by Chris Jacobsen for 2 years. After high school Nadia
was blessed with a year long scholarship to the prestigeous Edge Dance
and Performing Arts studio located in Hollywood California. She completed
her year and decided to continue pursuing her education not only in dance
but in becoming a worldy traveler and dancer.
She is so excited
to be teaching back in her home town and wants to thank all of her teachers
who have inspired her to teach.

Steps is located at 135 Aviation Way, Suite #21 in Watsonville. From Hwy 1 take
the Airport Blvd. exit and head North towards the airport. Take another
left on Aviation Way. Make a right into the second driveway and proceed
to the very back of the building. |
